Let me tell you a little bit of our trip. We had the best time we have ever had. Lo Lo Pass was beautiful and treacherous. We got to spend the night at the geographic center of the United States. Rapid City was the bomb. We saw a cool hot rod show in Deadwood. I drank whiskey with Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. We visited Sturgis, Mt. Rushmore, and went to our first a rodeo. I got to play with a rattlesnake, see the coolest collection of Harley’s on the planet, eat the sweetest corn ever tasted, swim in Lake Michigan, ride with 7499 other bikes on one run, be waved at by a bazillian people, listen to Springsteen live, and take an overnight ferry ride. We got to have a romantic dinner overlooking Niagara Falls during a really cool light show, take a ride on the Maid of the Mist. We got to take my mom to a biker party and introduce her to the burn out pit (where she did a burn out with her Rascal scooter) score a look at a sweet Russian breast, learned to be tolerant of trailer queens and say good bye to my favorite bike for a year.
